The authors have detected two errors in figure 3 of this article. Readers are directed to their correspondence article published in this issue of the European Respiratory Review (https://doi.org/10.1183/16000617.0013-2022) which clarifies the mistake and recalculates the meta-analyses for ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) and mortality outcomes.
