The European Respiratory Review publishes state-of-the-art reviews, updates, editorials and case reports on current topical issues in respiratory medicine, science and surgery.

All material is subject to independent peer review. Correspondence to the Chief Editor regarding published material is encouraged.

Currently, the European Respiratory Review is published quarterly, with each issue being structured around a "theme of the month".

The themes for 2009 are as follows:

  • September: Forum on pulmonary hypertension
  • December: Asthma
Forthcoming themes are: Cystic fibrosis; Pulmonary fibrosis; Respiratory intensive care; Sleep disordered breathing; and Venous thromboembolic disease.
